What happens if I consume these allowances?
Should you use up all of your allowances in the same day, the following rates will apply:
- Calls to Malta and visited countries at €0.35c/min
- Calls to any other country at €0.99c/min
- Incoming calls at €0.35/min
- SMS to Malta & visited country at €0.10/SMS
- SMS to any other country at €0.49/SMS
- Data at €0.05c/MB
The daily bundle will start only when you make or receive the first call, send the first SMS or carry out an internet session. The €0.99/day is charged only on the days that you use your phone.

How to Activate Standard Traveller, Data Traveller and Traveller Lite
When travelling to countries covered under the Traveller Lite bundle, this plan will be automatically activated.
The Standard Traveller and Traveller Data bundles are daily roaming packages that can be activated via SMS. To opt in, simply send a free SMS with the keyword ‘TRAVEL’ to 16200.
Once one of these bundles have been activated, the daily rate will only be charged on the days you use your mobile device in the eligible countries. On these days, you will receive a daily allowance valid until midnight (Malta time).
Will I be charged for these Traveller bundles while in Malta?
No, you will not be charged. The Standard Traveller, Data Traveller and Traveller Lite bundles are only applicable when you are roaming in the eligible countries listed above. There is no need to opt out when you return to Malta, as the bundles do not apply once you leave these countries.
Can I opt out of Standard Traveller, Data Traveller, or Traveller Lite?
Traveller Lite is automatically activated when you visit eligible countries and cannot be opted out of.
For Standard Traveller and Data Traveller, while we recommend remaining subscribed to benefit from the best roaming rates in over 70 countries, you may opt out at any time. To unsubscribe, simply send a free SMS with the word ‘STOPTRAVEL’ to 16200.
