Digital Services Act
The Digital Services Act (DSA) is an EU-level regulation designed to ensure a safer and more accountable online environment. It aims to prevent illegal and harmful activities online, curb the spread of disinformation, and protect fundamental rights, while fostering a fair and open digital ecosystem.
Under the DSA, intermediary service providers include entities that offer network infrastructure, hosting services, and online platforms, enabling user access to goods, services, or content.
The DSA applies to all intermediary service providers offering services within the EU. As a provider of intermediary services, Epic has obligations under the DSA, notably under Articles 11 and 12, which require providers to designate a single point of contact for communication related to the application of the DSA. For any DSA-specific queries, please contact Epic via email at dsa@epic.com.mt.
In accordance with Article 15, Epic is also required to publish transparency reports related to any content moderation activities undertaken. These reports help demonstrate our commitment to transparency, user rights, and the reduction of disinformation online.
