Information on Emergency services in EU countries

A single Union-wide database of Means of access to Emergency Services has been established by virtue of the Roaming Regulation. This database intends to help roaming end-users in each Member State to be informed of all the alternative means of access to Emergency services deployed in the Union, in addition to calling emergency number 112. This page provides up-to -date information that can be accessed free of charge, which describes the alternative means of access to emergency services which are technically feasible for use by roaming customers.

Romania	Emergency applications	Call 112 ("Apel 112") is the application developed by the national emergency call service administrator, for mobile phones with Android and iOS systems, able to read the location information generated by the existing location services on the phone and transmit the geographical position of the phone to the 112 System.
