In order to support our continued investment in our products and services, the monthly price of your Epic plans may increase in February each year, unless Epic in its sole discretion chooses not to apply the relevant adjustment. This will commence from February 2024 and apply each February thereafter, so we are letting our customers know in advance.

Which customers are impacted?
This applies to all new and renewed post-paid consumer contracts entered from the 9th December 2022 onwards. Therefore, if your current plan started before 9th December 2022, you will not be affected by the price adjustment clause until your plan is renewed.
How does this affect you?
On 1st February of each year, Epic shall be entitled to adjust all charges (including the price of the Monthly Plan, charges for any additional services, roaming charges and any out of bundle charges) by an amount equal to the annual Retail Price Index inflation rate (https://nso.gov.mt/en/News_Releases/View_by_Unit/Unit_A5/Price_Statistics/Pages/Retail-Price-Index.aspx ) (“Inflation Rate”) published by the National Statistics Office in Malta each January. Epic will communicate any such adjustment to you.
What is the annual price adjustment clause?
The annual price adjustment clause refers to the inflation price adjustment that allows prices or other charges to be adjusted periodically based on the relative change in value of one or more established price indices. The price adjustment clause is reflected in the following; In term 3.2 of Epic’s Mobile General Terms and Conditions, in term 8.12 for Fibre General Terms and Conditions and in term 8.10 for Plug and Play General Terms and Conditions. Epic shall only refer to the inflation rate published by the National Statistics Office in Malta.
How will this be calculated?
The adjustment will be calculated by multiplying the relevant charge individually by the Inflation Rate percentage and will be rounded up to the nearest whole cent.
Are discounts relevant to the calculation?
The percentage change is based on the Total Bill (excluding discounts) and the full value of any existing discounts you are benefiting from will continue to be applied.
When will I see this on my bill?
The price adjustment will apply as of February usage invoices each year, unless Epic in its sole discretion chooses not to apply the relevant adjustment. This will commence from February 2024.
If your plan started on or after 9th December 2022:
Your Monthly Plan price may increase in February 2024 by an amount equal to the Inflation Rate published last January by the National Statistics Office in Malta. Therefore, as an example, the Inflation Rate increased by 2% then your Plan price will be adjusted as below:

Other details you should know?
In the event that the Inflation Rate is negative (-), this will be treated as being 0%. The adjustment to charges as a result of this annual increase is not a change or an amendment to the terms and conditions of your subscription contract. If the Inflation Rate ceases to be published by the National Statistics Office in Malta, the calculation will be made on the basis of the replacement index chosen by the Government of Malta or a similar index communicated to the Customer by Epic.
