This position is being offered on a definite contract for maternity cover

Key Accountabilities / Key Activities:

  • Management of collection processes and dunning reminders
  • Payments – Solving internal queries, collecting payments from customers and follow up on chasing.
  • Deliver timely monthly chasing and follow ups.
  • Dealing with internal and external customers.
  • Payment negotiations / Agreements with Consumer.
  • Prepare daily payment coding for cashiering.
  • Reconciliation of payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities for auditing, court or other purposes.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Minimum ‘O’ level standard including English, Mathematics and Maltese and /or completion of customer service-related course.
  • Basic knowledge of financials
  • Maltese and English speaking
  • Work in Team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Written and Verbal Communication skills in both Maltese and English.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office programmes is considered a must (Email, excel, word)
  • Organisational, interpersonal, communication skills and problem-solving techniques accompanied with decision making.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diverse internal and external customer population.
