Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the BI team to design, develop, and implement data warehouse infrastructure.
- Participate in all stages of the data pipeline, including data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and visualization.
- Work with a variety of tools such as NiFi, Spark, Airflow, DBT, Pentaho, and PowerBI to ensure seamless data flow and analysis.
- Contribute to the optimization and performance tuning of data processes for efficient data management.
- Support data modelling and scheme design activities to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Strong foundation in data engineering concepts and methodologies.
- Familiarity with modern data stack tools such as NiFi, Spark, Airflow, DBT, Pentaho, and PowerBI.
- Basic understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of SQL and proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java).
- Understanding of data governance and data quality best practices.
